History

North Tees is a privately owned Land Holding, Estate Management and Development Company with offices in Teesside and Newcastle. In 2005 North Tees acquired circa 600 acres of land from ICI on the North Bank of the River Tees, commonly known as the “North Tees Estate”. Since then, its founder (Ian Hunter) has worked tirelessly to develop the North Tees Estate with the sole vision of developing a world-class industrial site able to host  industries of today and of the future, providing estate companies with net zero carbon opportunities.

Sustaining our future, depends on us being at the forefront of Green Technologies, in particular Green Energy such as Hydrogen, Wind, Battery, and Energy from Waste (EfW). North Tees Estate has already attracted inward investment of $1.3billion for such projects.

As a privately owned company, we take a personal approach to our business and remain very proud of our estate. With c140 acres of shovel ready land and a further 150 acres in the pipeline we offer access to key infrastructure such as road, rail, and sea.
